It’s a modern long-life cooling fluid for car, truck, bus engines. DAC G12 OAT has been manufactured in accordance with OAT (organic additive technology), it does not contain borates, phosphates, silicates, amines, nitrites or nitrates (NAP Free). It is suitable for use in both gasoline and diesel engines throughout the year. Use the fluid in compliance with the instruction manual of your vehicle. Drain out the old fluid; if necessary, flush the engine with distilled water. Check if the cooling system is leak proof. Fill with DAC G12 OAT. Start the engine. Check the fluid level and top up, as needed. Composition of anti-corrosive additives in DAC G12 OAT is in compliance with international standards: BS 6580 (UK), SAE J 1034 (1), CUNA NC 956-16 (I), ASTM D 3306, 4985, FVV Heft R 443 (D), JIS K 2234 (J), UNE 26361-88 (E), NATO S 759, Afnor R 15/601 (F), KSM 2142 (K), EMPA (CH), E/L 1415c (MIL Italy). DAC OAT LONGLIFE – WHAT IS IT?
Many of us drive a car, but do we ever think how many different liquids, seemingly irrelevant at first glance, it needs? However, things are quite different now. Each technical fluid plays a very important role in the car and has a very specific function. It is difficult for an ordinary driver to understand what coolant or windshield detergent to choose. This is why Danushis Chemicals has developed DAC. DAC is a line of high-quality automotive care products for professionals and amateur drivers.
Each DAC product goes through a long process of development – from idea to the moment when you purchase it in a store. In this article, we will tell you how we design and develop some of the most popular coolants in Lithuania – DAC OAT Longlife.
The main objective was to produce a coolant liquid requiring no replacement for at least 5 years. Until now, conventional coolants were used to serve no more than two years, or until the car reached a mileage of about 100,000 km. A liquid with a longer service life can reduce the fluid replacement intervals by as much as three times, thereby protecting the environment from pollution, improving engine cooling, and reducing fuel consumption.
DAC has developed a coolant with a boiling temperature of that can go as high as 120 °C, and a lifetime of 5 years or 200,000 km. The coolant was named DAC OAT Longlife. OAT (Organic Additive Technology) is an advanced technology that allows the engine to cool at a very high temperature, and protect it from corrosion. This is a Longlife class fluid. The coolant also features an exceptionally low crystallization temperature of -40 ºC.
After developing DAC OAT Longlife, we not only received orders from Lithuania, but also from foreign automotive manufacturers, therefore, we needed a large quantity of clean water completely free of sodium or potassium salts. This problem was solved by simply using highly efficient three-stage water treatment equipment, and in order to meet the increased demand of DAC OAT Longlife, we installed the most modern automatic bottling line in the Baltic States.
